Fallow Deer Hunting

Fallow deer are known for their striking appearance and wide range of color variations, making each animal distinct. Bucks typically weigh between 130 and 220 pounds and carry wide, palmated antlers that can reach 20 inches or more.

At Grand Lake Hunt, fallow deer offer a hunt that rewards patience and observation. These animals move deliberately through the preserve, requiring careful shot placement and a steady approach. Hunting fallow deer gives you the opportunity to pursue a unique trophy.

Fallow deer pricing is based on sex and maturity. All hunts are fully guided.

Availability varies by season. Trophy animals are limited.

What's Included

Included with all fallow deer hunts: 

  • Lodging (3 days & 2 nights)

Our Harvest Policy

If no animal is harvested and no animal is wounded, only the deposit will be retained. We consider wounded animals a kill, although every effort will be made to recover your animal. A full payment is required if an animal is wounded, as determined by a verified shot and/or blood found.

Booking Deposit

A $1000 deposit is required to book all hunts and guarantee hunt dates. 90 days prior to your hunt this deposit becomes non-refundable. Cancellations made 30-90 days prior to your hunt allow us to move your reservation to the following year. 30 days prior to your hunt, deposits will not be refunded, and reservations will not be moved to the following year.
