Turkey & Whitetail Hunting
If you are looking to try your hand at a little free-range hunting, Maine offers Wild Turkey hunting. It is common to find flocks of turkey strutting through the fields in our area. Average adult hens weigh between 8 - 12 lb. and adult toms between 10 - 20 lb., but a large tom can weigh in excess of 25 lb.

Maine is home to one of the largest of the 30 recognized subspecies of white-tailed deer. Easily identified by their signature white tail, our adult bucks, range from 200 to 300 pounds live weight and generally stand 36 to 40" at the shoulder. White tail produce antlers every year which transition from velvet to hard horn in late August/early September before being shed sometime after December.

Seasons & Licensing
Free-range wild turkey and white tail deer hunts are conducted in accordance with Maine Department of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife (MDIFW) regulations, including season dates, legal methods of take, and licensing requirements.

Whitetail deer seasons vary by weapon type and Wildlife Management District. Spring and fall turkey seasons are regulated separately by the State of Maine.

Booking Deposit
A $1000 deposit is required to book all hunts and guarantee hunt dates. 90 days prior to your hunt this deposit becomes non-refundable. Cancellations made 30-90 days prior to your hunt allow us to move your reservation to the following year. 30 days prior to your hunt, deposits will not be refunded, and reservations will not be moved to the following year.
